Your pet is placed gently, and individually, into a private stainless-steel compartment. That goes into the aquamation system along with the water and alkali solution. From there, warmth and gentle water movement do their work over several hours, we call it a “gentle return”, because that’s really what it is: calm and slow, not violent and fast.
Once it’s done, what’s left is mineral remains, which we rinse, dry, and process into a fine powder. They have a different texture to fire cremated ashes, and usually more of it, since aquamation doesn’t lose material to combustion.
