The Loving Legacy Plan – Terms & Conditions
1. Purpose
The Loving Legacy Plan is a prepaid pre-arrangement program allowing pet owners to plan and pay in advance for future private aquamation services through Gentle Pet Crossing.
The program is intended for healthy pets or pets not expected to require aftercare immediately.
2. Waiting Period
To qualify for discounted pre-planning pricing, this plan must be purchased at least thirty (30) calendar days before services are needed.
If aftercare is required within the first 30 days after purchase:
- the prepaid amount will be applied toward current regular pricing
- the promotional discount will not apply
- the remaining balance, if any, must be paid before services are provided.
This waiting period helps ensure the program remains a true pre-planning benefit for all families.
3. Validity
The plan remains valid for 24 months from the purchase date.
Services must be used within that period.
Unused plans expire after 24 months unless renewed.
4. Locking Today’s Pricing
Pricing is guaranteed for 24 months regardless of future price increases.
If the plan expires before being used, current pricing will apply.
5. Eligible Services
The plan includes only the services specifically selected at the time of purchase, including:
- Private Aquamation
- Individual identification throughout the process
- Secure registration of your arrangements
- Certificate of Pre-Arranged Aftercare
- Return of cremated remains (ashes)
- Selected urn
- Any prepaid keepsakes
6. Weight Tier
Pricing is based upon the pet’s estimated weight at the time services are needed.
If the pet exceeds the purchased weight tier, the difference in pricing must be paid before services begin.
If the pet weighs less than the purchased tier, no refund is provided.
7. Changes
The owner may update:
- contact information
- veterinarian
- emergency contact
- pet information
at no charge during the validity period.
8. Transferability
The plan may be transferred:
- to another pet owned by the same household
- or to another immediate family member
upon written approval by Gentle Pet Crossing.
The new pet must qualify for the purchased weight tier or applicable price differences will apply.
9. Cancellation
Plans may be cancelled in writing.
Refunds will be:
- Within 30 days (provided no services have been rendered): 100% refund.
- After 30 days: refund of the prepaid amount less a $50 administrative processing fee.
- Once any services have begun, the plan becomes non-refundable.
10. Additional Services
Items not included in the purchased package—including upgraded urns, jewelry, additional paw prints, memorial products, shipping, or specialty services—may be added at current pricing.
11. Veterinary Fees
The Loving Legacy Plan does not cover any services provided by the veterinarian .
Veterinary services including:
- euthanasia
- examination fees
- transportation arranged by the veterinarian
- medications
are separate and remain the responsibility of the pet owner.
12. Transportation
Transportation outside Gentle Pet Crossing’s standard service area may incur additional fees.
Any transportation charges will be disclosed before services are provided.
13. Identification
Every pet will receive individual identification that remains with them throughout the entire aquamation process.
14. Limitation of Liability
Gentle Pet Crossing agrees to provide the services purchased under this plan using the same professional standards provided to all families.
Liability is limited to the value of the prepaid services.
15. Right to Refuse
Gentle Pet Crossing reserves the right to decline services if:
- payment obligations have not been met
- inaccurate information was intentionally provided
- circumstances exist outside our reasonable control.
16. Force Majeure
Gentle Pet Crossing shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, utility failures, governmental actions, or other emergencies.
17. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
18. Acceptance
By purchasing The Loving Legacy Plan, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
The Loving Legacy Plan is designed for families planning ahead. To preserve the value of this discounted program for everyone, enrollment must occur at least 30 days before services are needed.
